Dr. Okolo is currently Chief of Endoscopy and Director of the Pancreatitis Center at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He has worked as the Staff Gastroenterologist and Director of Interventional Endoscopy at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and was named 1 of America’s Top Doctors 3 years in a row (2004-2006) by the Consumer Council of America.
Dr. Okolo has been on a quest to find better ways to provide care for people with gastrointestinal illnesses, better ways to use the gastrointestinal tract as way to treat the rest of the body using endoscopy. He has also been pursuing the use of these techniques to treat obesity.
